Commissions

'Circle' and 'Twist' (2016)
"As an artist living in Anton Cottage, David Street, Blairgowrie, I was commissioned (by the Royal Scottish Geographic Society) to make a piece of work to celebrate the opening of the James Croll Garden at Fair Maid's House in Perth. I have produced two water colours, the first one based on the original stone circle in the James Croll Garden and the second one based on a part of the front stone wall of Anton Cottage, which has a very old wisteria climbing up it. The two pieces of work tie my home (and his for a time) to the garden in Perth. The inclusion of stone in both is a nod to James Croll's Father's job as a stone mason."
